Tie Performance Metrics and Initiatives to Strategic Objectives

CorVu has a modular range of solutions aimed at strategic management. All are installed on an application server and run within a users browser by selecting a URL, no software needs to be installed on the end users PC and the only condition is that the SUM JVM not the older Microsoft JVM is installed.

CorStrategy is a Balanced Scorecard application where a hierarchical representation of an organisation can be built which contains measures or Key Performance Indicators which are items which are crucial to an organisations success can be updated with periodic data either daily, weekly, monthly or annually. Each measure has a Target and Intervention value associated with it so when an updater updates the periodic data the measure is scored and colour coded and can be weighted if necessary within its group so that all measures can be viewed on a like to like basis. As a user scrolls through periods within the application the colours and scores change depending on the actual data for that period. Users can update the periodic data either from within the application, as a result of the application sending them a reminder e-mail containing a URL link to a web form or by using CorBusiness to extract data from a data base and schedule an import of data into the CorStartegy application. CorStartegy has its own scheduler for imports and exports, user and user group security and is linked to either a SQL Server or Oracle data base whose tables are created when the application is installed. The application is functionally very rich and contains report, graph and trend views of the underlying periodic data, Maps screens can be created with customer specific back ground images and brought together collectively in Briefing Books. License types are Admin, Professional, Read and Update, Update and Read Only. Typically CorStrategy is always sold with CorBusiness, CorPortfolio and HyperVu as means of additional reporting capabilities from the SQL or Oracle data base.

CorProject is also similar to the CorStrategy but enables users to define projects they wish to monitor and manage. Where CorStrategy and or CorRisk are used as well CorProject can be used to align projects to business goals and risks.

CorPlanning is similar in functionality to CorStrategy but is based around webform worksheets which allow users to manage, monitor and update budgets plus any number of different budget to be modelled prior to sign off.

CorRisk has the same functionality as CorStartegy but the terminology is around Risk KRI’s
